SDS Academy of Behavioural Sciences is a center for training, education and research in the field of Psychology, Education and Organization Behaviour. Our group of experts conduct seminars, workshops, short-term courses and action research activities in the community, schools, colleges and organizations. So far, around 8000 members have been trained by the Academy. Our training modules are tailor made to suit the needs of the target group and hence the journey of the participants to become professionals is always at ease.

Accredited by Rehabilitation Council of India and International Affiliate Member of American Psychological Association, Rehabilitation and Mental Health Specialist with more than four decades of experience. He is the Former Head of National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Government of India and is trained in Psychometrics and Cognitive Behavior Therapy under the Professors in New Zealand. He is one of the pioneers in implementing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy on anxiety/depression disorders and addiction-related disorders specifically in Anxiety – Phobia, Selective Mutism, Gadget Addiction, Eating Disorders, Major Depression, and dealing with Grief etc. He also specializes in dealing with Neurological Issues such as Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Neurological Issues, Stroke, etc. by conducting specific Neuropsychological Assessments and using specific therapies to improve the functioning of clients. He has received National award conferred by His Excellency President of India twice for the Empowerment of Persons with Disability. He is an expert in the field of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology focusing on areas such as Disability and Rehabilitation, Depression and Anxiety related disorders. Further, he authored three books on Specific Learning Disability and Stress Management. He is known for his National and International reputation in the academic field. He has made significant contribution in the field of disability with more than 30 empirical research papers. He is a visiting professor for many National and International Educational Institutions. Further he has trained more than 3000 students in Specific Learning Disability, Counselling and Psychotherapy, Psychological Assessment and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. He has provided Psychological Assessments, Counselling and Psychotherapy for more than 75,000 clients with varied mental illness and disabilities. Currently he is a visiting professor of Bay University, USA, having produced 69 M.Phil.’s and 9 Ph.D.’s in the field of Psychology.

She is basically a Psychologist with over 3 years of experience in Rehabilitation, Counselling and Psychotherapy for adolescents, adults and elders with mental health issues. Her area of expertise is in managing psychosomatic disorders, online game addiction, crisis interventions and stroke, dementia and Parkinson’s rehabilitation by using Cognitive Stimulation and Cognitive Reconstruction therapies. She has been trained under the experts from World Psychiatric Association and Schizophrenia Research Foundation on School Mental Health. She is associated with Wellness groups in conducting PsyCAP programs in MNCs and Corporates for the Management Team to identify early behavioural symptoms and understanding the antecedents, guest Lectured on topics like, Counselling Skills, psychosexual wellbeing among adolescents, guest lectured as ‘Special Invitee’ in Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) Workshop organized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) on topics related to Disability and Rehabilitation, organized and lectured in workshops, short term and long term certification programs in the field of psychology – Behaviour Analysis and Interventions, School Psychology, Neuropsychological Assessments, Advanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Management of children with special needs, Workplace Well-being, Cognitive Restructuring, Specific Learning Disabilities, Capacity Building in workplace, etc., conducted a seminar organized by National Commission for Women on Disabilities, Implication and Vocational Rehabilitation for women with disabilities.
